Ed Berger, O.D.

With almost 30 years of both national and international experience, Dr. Berger’s skilled expertise has provided thousands of patients with exceptional optometric service. Berger received his Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in 1990. He then completed several professional placements both here and abroad in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Israel and in Germany for the 34th General Army Hospital in Augsburg. Dr. Berger is Northeast Regional Clinical Board certified and holds Therapeutic Licensure in New York and Colorado.

Dr. Berger worked in a wide range of private practices before starting his own, Family Eye Care, in 1993. He began focusing on correctional optometry in 1997 as a Network Director for the New York State Department of Correctional Services. His passion for providing needed optometric care to those living in institutions led him to start Correctional Eye Care Network Services in 1999 and now OnSite Vision Plans.
